Foundation A

Dear Foundation A Students and Parents,

Thank you for a wonderful year. Despite all the obstacles, we have all progressed far beyond what I would have thought possible.

Students

You have become enthusiastic writers and readers. Many of you have taken up ‘letter writing’ and love to sit together and read books. Enquiring minds have developed, along with a lot of really interesting and not so easy to answer questions. You are also ‘Zoom’ specialists and have developed some impressive IT skills. Best of all, you are full of praise for your friends learning. “I don’t like your work, I love it!!!” is something I have loved to hear.

Parents

I think you have all learned more about learning than you probably ever wanted to know. You have become experts at helping your children learn to read and write. You know all about the importance of knowing the sounds made by letters and their ‘special friends’. You have also been able to juggle work, home and learning all at once. Thank you!!!!

On the holidays make sure that you keep finding and reading books. The libraries are open again, make sure you go and visit. There are so many amazing books to read. Make sure that you have lots of fun as well.

Have a safe holiday break. I will miss you all, but know you will still drop by to visit next year.
